visit.

discussion if cleared.

Browser types in address
for previously visited ie "www.pl" produces "www.planosymphony.com"

Alter History
-
From IE, click [Tools]
then [Internet Options].
-
[Clear History] deletes
all entries.
-
"Days to keep" setting can
be changed.
-
Zero days is mysterious.
-
20 is the default.
Temporary Files
-
Every time you visit a
site, a copy of the site is copied onto your computer.
-
This speeds up the
second and later visits.
-
They can be deleted with
one button click - frees up hard drive space.
-
[Settings] show you the
actual files.

Find Temporary Files
-
From Internet options,
select [Settings]
-
Temp files expedite
revisiting sites.
-
Also known as caching
(sounds like cashing).
-
Actual location of files
is documented - yours may be different.

Allowing zero disk space
is mysterious.

Click [View Files] to
see the actual files.

Click [View Files] from settings
screen.

Sort by any field - click on
Name or Internet Address or Type...

Graphic files are most suspect.
-
Sort by type. Graphics are
either JPEG or GIF.

Click name of file to view.
-
Sort by date to see recent
activities.

No temporary files would be
mysterious.

Limited by hard drive space allotted.
