John has been teaching T&F for 27 years. As a college coach,
he produced 68 All-America's, 9 NCAA Champions, 4 College
Record Holders, 7 Olympic Trials Qualifiers, 2 USATF National
Champions, and 1 Olympian. Now, at the High School and Club level,
he has enjoyed the same success. Some of his recent athletes are
Loren Leaverton (3 time All-American), Kristal Walton, Diana Pickler
(Jr. Nat'l Champ), Julie Pickler (Jr. Nat'l Champ), Erica McLain
(Jr. Nat'l Champ), Jordan Mumford (All American), and Shawn Schmidt
(Jr. Nat'l Champ & State Record Holder). Currently,
John serves as the Coordinator for USA Heptathlon. Last year
Coach Turek was chosen as an Asst. Coach for the USA vs.
Germany Decathlon Competition as well as the Head Coach for the
Netherlands Heptathalon Competition. He has also served as an
assistant coach for the Jr. Pan American Team. John is a
Level 2 certified USATF coach. He has a Masters Degree in
Biomechanics and has authored a book on the javelin.

John has been teaching track & field since 1974. He has spent time at
the college and high school levels with tremendous success. His
Aurora H.S. boys and girls teams have won 6 Colorado State titles
total. His Eaglecrest H.S. teams have finished in the top 5 in the state
6 times. He has coached 24 individual State Champions, 2 National
Champions, and 3 top-10 tinishers at the World Junior Meet. He
currently heads up the Heptathlon Junior Elite Program. He was
chosen as an Asst. Coach for the World Junior Team in 2004.

Richie has been coaching at St. John's (Houston) for 23 years. He has
coached sprinters, jumpers, throwers, and vaulters during that time. A
Former decathlete at the University of Virginia, he is also a USATF
Level 2 Certified Coach in the jumps and a frequent Level 1 Instructor
in biomechanics, jumps, and throws. He has served as an instructor for
the Women's Jr. Elite Horizontal Jumps Camp. He has also worked
with several national class junior athletes in the horizontal jumps and
pole vault and coached junior National finalist, Kim Dill in 1988-89.

Tim has been coaching T&F for the past 32 years at the club level. A
former decathlete, he specializes in the multi-events. In the past, his
athletes set three national records: Lauren Reimer, age 14 national
record; Jodi Anderson, age 16 national record; and Kendra Reimer,
age 18 and NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL RECORD of 5493 points. An
Authority on strength training, technique, nutrition and flexibility, Tim is
one of the best coaches in the multi-events at any level.
