FREE THE CHILDREN

Middle and Upper School students run the St. Mark's chapter of this international organization which fights against exploitive child labor around the world. Each year our chapter raises funds to build a school in a different area of need. We also try to spread awareness of the plight of so many of the world's poorest children, who are forced to work and have no opportunity for an education. So far, we have built schools in Ecuador and Guatemala, and this year we are focusing on a small village in El Salvador. Click above for more information.

ST MARK'S WILDERNESS PROGRAMS

Our programs include the Pecos Trip, The Climbing Club, Grade Level Campouts and the Sherpa Club. Visit this page to learn about these programs as well as other Wilderness links.

MODEL AIRPLANE CLUB (click here for photographs)

The MAC is a group of Middle School and Upper School boys who LOVE airplanes and LOVE building and flying model airplanes. Each boy starts with an unpowered radio controlled glider with a 2 meter wingspan. He then moves on to any other kind of airplane he wishes to build. The club meets every Wednesday at 3:45 in the Physics room. This year the club has 16 members.
